1. KUNDAL Korean Shampoo

Silicone and Paraben-Free

The KUNDAL Korean Shampoo is really great if you have dandruff. It’s a sulfate-free shampoo and has a 100% natural fragrance to it. It smells like a refreshing herbal scent.

What we like about this shampoo is that it’s really good for a sensitive scalp and it provides nourishment for healthy hair.

The shampoo is from a Korean brand Kundal which is pretty popular in Korea. A lot of people use this shampoo, this bottle of shampoo will last you at least a couple of months because you only need a very small amount of it. You can wash your hair less often now and it will look shinier than before.

Personal experience: I got this November 2nd and started using it immediately, just from 1 wash it literally blew me away.

The felt so refreshing after only using it once and my scalp felt really good after, it’s when you shave your legs and that soft feeling you get after a couple of days.

Normally my hair tends to get very greasy after 1 day but with this shampoo, it didn’t. I could literally wash my hair once a week and it didn’t get greasy at all.

How To Use:

Start by damping a bit of water on your hair, not too much so it’s not fully wet. Now add a bit of shampoo (1 pump) to your hair and massage it really well into your hair for about 2 to 4 minutes. Next, let it sit for about 1 to 2 minutes and rinse it thoroughly out with lukewarm water.

Best For:

  • Sensitive scalp due to stress and external factors
  • If your scalp needs natural nutrients
  • If you have dandruff
  • If you have an oily scalp
  • If you have a bad scalp odor

2. Hask Rose Shampoo

Silicone and Sulfate-Free

The Hask Rose Shampoo is great for people with an itching scalp. It relieves the scalp from a lot of problems and is optimized for an oily scalp as well. The shampoo has a vegan formula that’s also silicone and sulfate-free.

It gets the job done and doesn’t have any toxic ingredients inside. Normally it’s pretty hard to find a good Korean cleansing shampoo, so this one is really perfect.

Personal experience: I have tried this shampoo and still use it to this day. I often just swap shampoos depending on the day it is and how my scalp is feeling.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about this shampoo because from experience a lot of “clean” shampoos have disappointed me in the past. However, with this shampoo I was not disappointed at all, it worked really well from the start and that’s probably why I still use it to this day.

How To Use:

After getting your hair a bit wet, apply a proper amount of shampoo to the scalp. Massage it thoroughly so you get every part of your scalp, do this for about 2 to 4 minutes and rinse it out with lukewarm water. Avoid using hot water because this can be damaging.

Best For:

  • Thin hair
  • Sensitive scalp
  • If you have dandruff

3. B5+Biotin Fortifying Shampoo

Silicone and Sulfate-Free

The B5+ Biotin Fortifying shampoo is great for people with thin hair. This shampoo gently cleans your hair while it providing nutrition for the scalp and hair roots.

It contains Biotin which means that it provides nutrition for strong hair roots and healthy hair. What we like about this shampoo is that it really thickens your hair in just a couple of washes. It gives a lot of strength and shines more.

Another plus is that this is a Korean sulfate and silicone-free shampoo which a lot of people are looking for. It’s great for people with dry hair and it does not have toxic ingredients in it.

A lot of shampoos on the market these days have bad ingredients in it which we really don’t like because that could possibly damage your hair.

Personal experience: I bought this shampoo a long time ago and used it for a couple of washes, it wasn’t exactly for me because I don’t have thin hair. My hair is pretty thick already but I did feel it get stronger.

The quality of this shampoo is excellent if you have thinner hair, it really gives that boost that your hair needs. Definitely give this shampoo a try if you are thinking about it.

How To Use:

Apply it to your wet hair and make sure you massage it very well throughout your scalp. Do this for about 2 to 4 minutes and rinse it out with lukewarm water. Use a microfiber towel for the best results.

The Cypress deep cleansing shampoo is great for thoroughly cleansing your scalp. It gives a very refreshing feel to it and it’s great for thickening your hair.

It also makes your hair a lot stronger and fuller after a couple of uses. This shampoo is specially made for deep scalp cleansing and it contains alpha-pinene. The shampoo has a very premium feel to it which is very nice.

As the other shampoos we’ve mentioned, this one is also from a Korean brand which is pretty well known. There are a lot of reviews on this product and has a lot of benefits, it has a very cooling feel to your scalp and you don’t need a lot of it to use.

Personal experience: I have used a lot of different kinds of shampoos throughout the years and a lot of them didn’t get to my expectations. However, this one actually did surprisingly, I didn’t expect it to work that well for my scalp.

I personally prefer this over the B5+ Biotin shampoo because it’s not that strong and it lathers more easily. Again, this is all my own opinion and I think you should try all the shampoo’s yourself to really get a good feeling of how this works.

How To Use:

To start off, make your hair wet and apply a little bit of shampoo to your hair. Use your hands to rub it in and do this for about 2 to 4 minutes. Rinse it out with lukewarm water and towel-dry your hair.

  • Dandruff
  • Thinning hair
  • Scalp cleansing

5. Natural Premium TS Shampoo

Silicone and Sulfate-Free

The Natural TS Shampoo is for people that have dyed their hair. It is an acidic shampoo that smooths and cleanses the damaged color hair. It does not strip the color out of your hair which is really good.

Hibiscus herbal teas are free of caffeine and are rich in citric acids. It also has vitamin C in it which makes them really good for restoring strength and releasing fatigue.

This shampoo is also from a Korean brand and also sulfate-free. It softly closes the hair cuticles and maintains the color for a very long time, this is what you want when you color or dye your hair. You want the color to stay as long as possible so you don’t have to go back to the hairdresser again to fix it up.

Personal experience: I’ve dyed my hair in the past and used this shampoo. The surprising thing is when I went back to my hairstylist, she asked what kind of shampoo I was using.

I said that I used the Hibiscus color care shampoo and she really looked surprised because the color barely faded away. Next time when I’m going to dye my hair silver-ish, I will definitely use this shampoo again.

Wash your hair with this shampoo by adding a little bit to your wet hair. Massage it thoroughly for about 2 to 4 minutes and rinse it out with lukewarm water. You could possibly apply some conditioner after if you want.

Best For:

  • Colored hair
  • Slightly damaged hair

6. Quinoa Protein Shampoo

Silicone and Sulfate-Free

The Quinoa Protein shampoo is for extremely damaged hair. This shampoo has upgraded nutrients with the superfood, quinoa, and LPP protein.

Most people don’t need this shampoo because it’s not always extremely damaged but when it is, I do highly recommend you to try this shampoo because it can actually do wonders. This shampoo is also sulfate and silicone-free.

This shampoo is also from the brand Aromatica which is a Korean brand. It’s made with 96.4% naturally-derived ingredients and with this shampoo it’s better to take an appropriate amount to evenly massage onto your wet scalp.

This way all parts of your scalp get a good refreshing state after using it. Try to use this for a couple of weeks and you’ll definitely see results.

Personal experience: For this, I’ve actually never used it because my hair has never been extremely damaged. However, a friend of mine did and he had exceptional improvement after only using it twice.

His hair went from extremely damaged to slightly damaged. So if your hair is really damaged, we do recommend you to try this shampoo at least once in your lifetime, it could possibly change your whole life.

How To Use:

Apply a generous amount to your scalp, massage it thoroughly and rinse it out with lukewarm water. Towel dry your hair and do not blow-dry because blow-drying could make your hair even more damaged.

  • Extremely damaged hair
  • Very thin hair
