Why You Need A Different Shampoo For 360 Waves

Having 360 waves isn’t something you should take for granted. If you don’t actually take care of your hair, it could possibly lead to hair thinning or even hair loss. When it comes to hair care for 360 waves, the shampoo is the most important product. Surely, you need a good brush, conditioner, and other products. But the shampoo is the key product to keeping it clean and healthy.

There are many different shampoo brands on the market. Not all of them work for 360 waves, so do not just use a random shampoo that your mom bought. Make sure to know what works for your hair and how to maintain the 360 waves as long as possible. Here are the 9 best shampoos for 360 waves you never knew existed.

Best Overall – Wave Builder Wash In Waves Shampoo

The Wave Builder Wash In Waves Shampoo is the most popular shampoo for 360 waves out there. A lot of people use this because it actually works. What I really like about this shampoo is that the longer you use this, the longer the waves will stay.

It’s really that easy, and it’s not too harsh on the scalp. It’s actually very gentle, and it smells amazing. This is my go-to shampoo when it comes to 360 waves.

Another plus about using this shampoo for 360 waves is that it’s not too expensive either. I know for a fact that some shampoos cost over $50 a bottle. That’s definitely not the case with this one. This one fits in almost all budgets, and I highly recommend this shampoo if you’re starting with the 360 waves.

Best For Dandruff – Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo

The Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo is great for 360 waves, and it also works great if you have dandruff. What I really like about this shampoo is that it makes your hair extremely soft while also keeping it moisturized.

Not all shampoos have this features. Most shampoos that I’ve used in the past always made my scalp dry after using it. What I noticed was that this shampoo works very well with dandruff and flakes.

You don’t have to worry about dandruff anymore when using this shampoo. My barber told me to use this shampoo, and I’m glad I did.

What I do recommend when using this shampoo is to use a conditioner after the shampoo. This is just in case anything happens, and with the conditioner, you get the extra layer of protection.

Best For Dry Hair – Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo

The Nexxus Keraphix Shampoo is perfect for dry hair and 360 waves. Most people that are starting out with the 360 waves get dry hair and don’t really know how to deal with that. This is the perfect solution to that, no more worrying about your hair getting dry.

What I really like about this shampoo is that it repairs your dry hair, and the results are literally mind-blowing. When I started using this shampoo, my 360 waves were extremely dry.

Only after using this for 2 weeks, all the dryness was gone, and my 360 waves looked amazing. This is definitely the best shampoo for 360 waves if you have dry hair.

Another plus is that this shampoo is silicone-free, which means there aren’t any harsh chemicals inside. So no worrying about your waves getting damaged.

Best For Shine – Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curling Shampoo

The Shea Moisture Coconut Hibiscus Curling Shampoo smells amazing and works great for 360 waves. After so many different products and wasting money on useless shampoos that didn’t even work. This is the best shampoo for 360 waves if you want some extra shine.

As I said, the scent is very good, and your hair will become extremely soft while also keeping it moisturized and shiny.

What I do recommend is to use a conditioner after the shampoo and preferable the conditioner from the same brand.

When you use a conditioner from the same brand, the transition will be very smooth, and especially for 360 waves, that’s important. Some of my friends also started using this shampoo and only after 1 week of using this. Their hair got an insane shine boost, I was literally mind blown when I saw that.

Now they always thank me and ask if I have some new hair products that I really like. If you’re looking for a shampoo that gives a great shine to the 360 waves, this is perfect for you.

Best 2 in 1  – Head and Shoulders Shampoo 2 in 1

The Head and Shoulders Shampoo is a 2 in 1 shampoo with conditioner. This is a product you want if you don’t have a big budget for keeping the 360 waves good looking. It’s like a shampoo and conditioner combined in 1 product that has the same effect.

What I really like about this is that it works for all hair types and it’s not too expensive. If you have 360 waves, you also don’t have to spend more time washing your hair and also using the conditioner.

Another plus is that the bottle is really big, so generally speaking, it will last you at least 3 to 4 months when used 3x a week. That’s pretty long because you also don’t need to use a conditioner after.

That’s really a big benefit when it comes to using the 2 in 1 for 360 waves. However, I personally think that using a shampoo and conditioner separate gives better results.

Best For Thick Hair – Garnier Hair Care Fructis Shampoo

The Garnier Hair Care Fructis Sleek & Shine Shampoo is the best for thick hair and 360 waves. What I really like about this shampoo is that it doesn’t mess up the waves, but rather keeps it soft.

This shampoo lathers really well and doesn’t wash the waves out. As I said, it keeps the waves intact, which is very important when looking for shampoo.

My friend uses this shampoo, and he’s very happy with the results. It doesn’t have any harsh chemicals inside, so it won’t damage the 360 waves either.

The scent of this shampoo is very pleasant, and I highly recommend this shampoo to everyone with thick hair and 360 waves. You won’t regret trying this out, especially if you haven’t tried different shampoos yet.

Best For Thin Hair – Alberto VO5 Herbal Clarifying Shampoo

The Alberto VO5 Herbal Escapes Kiwi Lime Squeeze Clarifying works very well for thin hair and 360 waves. It’s a clarifying shampoo, so it’s different from other shampoos. Generally speaking, a clarifying shampoo is better for the hair itself.

However, if you used regular shampoos in the past and had no problem with that. It doesn’t really matter. What I really like about this shampoo is that it works very well for thin hair. Most people with 360 waves don’t have thin hair, but surely there are some out there.

So, if you have thin hair and 360 waves, this shampoo is perfect for you. It leaves your hair very smooth and shiny. It’s one of the shampoos that I always recommend to people with thin hair and 360 waves because I know it works.

Best Coconut Oil – OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo

The OGX Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo works very well for all hair types, but I know that some people really love coconut oil. If you have 360 waves and really like using coconut oil, this shampoo is perfect for you.

Using coconut oil has many benefits to the 360 waves and even hair in general. Coconut oil is wildly popular worldwide, and it has almost become a household product for everyone.

What I really like about this shampoo is that it works well for every hair type, which also includes the waves.

This shampoo gives the hair a very soft feel after and also healthy-looking. If you’re that person that really loves coconut oil, you should definitely start using this.

Best For Frizz – Maui Moisture Curl Quench

The Maui Moisture Curl Quench is great for 360 waves and frizz. It’s definitely one of the better shampoos out there for 360 waves because it keeps the waves very healthy.

What I really like about this shampoo is that it’s blended with aloe vera and is sulfate-free. It hasn’t any harsh chemicals inside and is pH Balanced. This shampoo belongs in my top 10 of all time because the results are really good.

Of course, there are better ones out there, but this one is very good for 360 waves and frizzy hair. If you’re considering buying a shampoo that actually keeps the good waves while also defrizzing your hair, this is the one you should go for.

4 Tips To Take Care Of 360 Waves

tips for 360 waves

Conditioner

After shampooing your 360 waves, it’s very important to move on to the next step. Most people don’t use any other hair care products after the shampoo, and that’s a big mistake. When you’re using conditioner after the shampoo, it will give that extra layer of protection that your hair might need.

There are many different brands out there, so it doesn’t matter which conditioner you go for. However, make sure to buy the conditioner that actually fits your hair type. Don’t go just for a random conditioner you see or the cheapest. Think thoroughly before buying a good conditioner to get the best results for the 360 waves.

Wave Brush

Brushes are extremely important when you want to keep it healthy. The wave brush I use is the Torino Pro Wave brush, you can find it here. What I really like about this wave brush is that it’s made with boar bristles, so it feels very premium.

Most wave brushes that I used in the past were very poor quality and broke very quickly. This one doesn’t do that. The quality is amazing, and it will give your 360 waves a huge boost. The brush will last you very long while also maintaining the quality, so it’s literally a no brainer for me.

Castor Oil

When using castor oil for 360 waves, you have to keep in mind that it actually fits your hair type. If you already have an oily scalp, I don’t recommend to use castor oil for your hair. However, you could try using it and see how it turns out.

At first, I was a bit hesitant because I didn’t really know what to expect with castor oil. But once you start using it, you can’t go back because it actually makes your hair improve a lot. A little of the oil goes a long way, and this is one of the products that I buy in bulk, so I never run out of it.

Be Consistent

Being consistent is pretty self-explaining. That’s with everything when you just start out. So for the 360 waves, you have to keep consistent with a good hair routine for some months. After trying out multiple products, you know which one works and which one doesn’t.

Surely, some products might not work for you while it works for others. That’s the whole experience you have to go through in the beginning, and that’s completely normal. When you are testing a new shampoo out for the 360 waves, make sure to use it for at least 2 to 3 weeks before throwing it out.

Getting the results isn’t something that comes within the first use. You have to be consistent and keep using it. Eventually, when it really doesn’t work, you should switch do a different product.

Final Thoughts

After all, it’s up to you if you’re going to buy one of these shampoos for 360 waves. However, from my experience, these shampoos actually work for 360 waves, and I really believe that one of these shampoos can really change your life.

When you’re at the point where you find a good shampoo that works for you. You’re set for life because you don’t need to switch out anymore. The same goes for conditioners and other products.

Once you get used to a product that works and you actually like you’re done. Just keep using those products and maintain the shiny, healthy, sleek look for your 360 waves. I hope this article has helped you find the shampoo that works for you.
